The Brief

Kutako was opening a spicy gourmet sandwich shop in downtown Baltimore, and wanted a Brand Identity that stood above the competition while embodying the story and meaning of the Brand. He also needed unique hot sauce bottle designs that captured the essence of fire and spice.

We created a FLAMING HOT brand identity for Pyre along with all the visual assets to boot.

About Pyre


PYRE is a premium hot sauce company and sandwich restaurant located in Baltimore, Maryland. They specialize in crafting gourmet sandwiches that highlight their signature hot sauces, aiming to create a memorably delicious experience for their customers.

On the Menu


PYRE's menu features a variety of gourmet sandwiches, each designed to complement their unique hot sauces. The emphasis is on the fusion of quality ingredients with their signature sauces to deliver a distinctive culinary experience.

Social Media Ads


We created some stellar social media ads to showcase Pyre's offerings. These ads not only highlight the unique features of the products but also engage the audience with eye-catching visuals and compelling calls to action.

Packaging Design - Bags


The packaging design was crafted to embody the bold and fiery essence of Pyre. By incorporating striking red and black graphics with flame motifs, we aimed to convey the spiciness and adventurous flavor of our gourmet sandwiches.


We crated playful yet daring messages on the stickers, such as "EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK" and "PYRE is FYRE," are designed to highlight the unique dining experience the Brand offers and leave a lasting impression on customers.

Packaging Design - Bottles


Each hot sauce bottle features a unique character and theme, like the Grim Reaper for "Kiss of Death" and the woman for "Afro Heat" being paying homage to the founder's mother. The dynamic colors and graphics capture the intense flavors within, evoking a sense of adventure and spice. Surrounding elements like skulls and flames add an edgy, daring touch, perfectly complementing Pyre's bold branding.



Each design captures a unique story and creates a sense of adventure and daring, enticing consumers to explore the various heat levels and flavors.




Large-Scale Marketing Assets


Lastly, we prepared some conceptual large-scale assets for Pyre to utilize as they expand in the future. These assets are designed to be adaptable and scalable, ensuring that they can effectively support Pyre's evolving needs and vision.
